You will have access to a BBQ and two patio areas that are shared with the 5 other units in the complex. The other units are vacation rentals so feel free to say hello and make friends with your fellow travelers if you encounter them!

This small sized cottage apartment is 400 square feet and is great for 1 or 2 adults. For guests with infants or toddlers, we can supply you with a pack-n-play and high chair upon request.

This unit comes with access to 2 bikes for cruising down the boardwalk. Should you want to rent more bikes, there is a bike rental shop a couple blocks away. (They also rent kid-sized bikes and baby seats if you need those.) We do not supply bike helmets. By law, only minors are required to wear bike helmets. You may bring your own bike helmets or you may rent them at the rental shop.

You have access to a coin operated washer/dryer that is shared with the other 5 units in the complex. Tenant access time is daily from 7am to 10am and 3pm to 10pm. (They are reserved for the housekeepers during the hours of 10 am-3 pm.)

If you'd rather have your laundry done for you there is a laundromat within walking distance that offers drop-off service at an affordable weight-based fee. You can just drop it off in the morning and they will have it ready and neatly folded for you by the end of the day.

Want a private bonfire on the beach? We can connect you with a service that offers setup and takedown, portable steel fire drum, roasting sticks, hot dogs, and s'mores.

Are you into yoga? There is free beach yoga daily just a 5 minute walk from the property. No yoga mats are required. Just bring beach towels and water and you are all set. (It's donation based so maybe bring some cash for the instructor. )

Want professional pictures on the beach? What better backdrop for a group shot than the stunning backdrop of the ocean or bay at sunset! We can help arrange for an affordable local portrait photographer to do a photo session of your family or group on the beach. Let us know in advance if you're interested and we can connect you with the photographer during your stay.

The unit is thoroughly cleaned between each stay. However if you wish for a cleaning and change of linens during your stay we can arrange for the housekeeper to come for an additional charge of the standard cleaning fee. Please give us one day's notice so we can get this scheduled.

Janet & Scott are your hosts. We are a husband and wife team and we live nearby. We own and operate Mission Beach Villas, a highly rated vacation rental management business in San Diego.

We are available 7 am to 10 pm to answer questions during your stay.

Our storefront rental office, Mission Beach Villas, is a mile away as well, so if you need anything feel free to stop by! If you have an early flight, you may stow your luggage at our office so you can go to lunch or hang out on the beach until check-in time. And if you have an afternoon flight on checkout day you may also stow luggage. Just coordinate these details with us and we are happy to accommodate.

Before your stay, we are happy to suggest our favorite restaurants and tourist attractions and will help you get acquainted with the area.

The best thing about the neighborhood is that there is so much within walking distance that you may not need a car. You could just take a taxi from the airport (6 miles away), get dropped off here, and you're at the beach! We have local restaurants, trendy beach bars, excellent coffee spots, and breakfasts cafes all within a few short blocks. Sea World is just 3 miles away.

The location is the best spot of all of Mission Beach. It is on the south side of Santa Clara Place (the only traffic light in North Mission Beach), which means a non commercial area. It is far enough (1 mile) north of the roller coaster area so it's very removed from the tourist noise. It is off of the main boulevard with friendly neighbors and a quiet homey atmosphere.

Recreational opportunities abound. This beach rental is a few minutes walking distance to Santa Clara Point where there are numerous recreation activities and rentals available including: stand-up paddle boards, kayaks, jet skis, windsurfing, catamarans, sailboats, water ski boats, and even jet packs. There are group classes and private lessons available for all of these activities. What's more, there are free yoga classes each day on the beach just two courts north.

It is equally centered between Belmont Park (the roller coaster area) and Crystal Pier in Pacific Beach, which are both 1 mile away, making this location accessible to the action if that's what you want.

There is a fantastic surf spot at the beach for beginner to advanced surfers, and is great for spectators as well. There are affordable surf lessons offered daily in the beach by our friends at Surfari Surf School. And, we can point you to all the best surf spots in San Diego County. We also have two world class board shapers who are neighbors in case you want to get a new surfboard while you are here.

We offer self check-in with access to a digital door lock to make your arrival as easy as possible. Your unit offers parking in its own dedicated garage.

Included with the rental is the use of boogie boards, beach towels, beach chairs, beach umbrellas, and sand toys for the kids. Plus there is a rental shop just a 3 minute walk away that rents surfboards, wetsuits, stand-up paddle boards, kayaks, etc. They have very affordable rates, plus after booking with us. we can give you a 15% discount on all the rentals they have to offer.

This unit has a garage that will fit up to a midsize SUV. If bringing a large vehicle, there is free 24/7 city parking out front, all across Mission Blvd, and the two nearby points, Santa Clara (north) and El Carmel (south).

It is positioned in the ♡ of Mission Beach, a gorgeous beach community on a super narrow strip of land between the Pacific Ocean and Mission Bay. Walk in either direction (west or east) and you'll encounter pristine white beaches. Both sides have wide boardwalks for bicycling or walking. On the bay side you'll enjoy a relaxing sail bay with a calm atmosphere, while on the ocean side you'll enjoy ocean waves for surfing and a lively beach scene. Either way, you'll call it paradise. We simply call it home!

There is a queen size bed in the bedroom. The unit offers one bathroom and a fully supplied kitchen.

We include a window A/C unit in the bedroom for comfortable sleeping. With the bedroom door open and all the ceiling fans turned on for circulation the A/C should keep the whole place nice and cool.

The kitchen includes a stove, refrigerator, microwave, blender, and a coffee maker. We supply you with all the cooking pans, dishes, and utensils you might need. There are the usual kitchen gadgets such as bottle openers and cork screws.

The television is equipped with Internet TV with Roku, which includes live local TV & Netflix. It also offers Amazon Prime, Hulu, and many other channels that you can use with your login credentials. What's more, there is free WiFi and plenty of outlets to keep you plugged in.

The vacation rental comes supplied with all the basics you'd expect at any hotel, like a hair dryer and iron. Plus you have a kitchen and living room to enjoy. We think of everything you might need and even stock you with beach towels so you don't need to pack those in your suitcase. If you don't bring a car you will be fine. More than half of our guests have come without a car and all have gotten around quite easily. Restaurants, shops, and convenience stores are within walking distance.

It is less than a 10-15 minute walk to Belmont Park where there is a giant roller coaster, rides, restaurants, bars, and shops.

Riding bikes along the boardwalk is usually the most scenic way to get around and take in the atmosphere. We provide 15% off for beach cruiser bicycles at a nearby rental shop just 3 blocks away that rents bikes by the hour, day, or the week. They also rent surfboards, wetsuits, stand-up paddle boards, and a lot of other fun beach equipment.

There is also a bus stop a few yards away that travels down Mission Blvd and will take you to Old Town in minutes. At Old Town there is a major transportation hub where you can transfer to any other bus line or transfer to the Trolley (San Diego's metro line) which will take you downtown.

Car Rental vs. Uber - The cost to Uber to downtown is way less expensive than to rent a car and then pay $30+ to park, not to mention spend 15+ minutes trying to find that parking spot which usually winds up being a 5-10 minute walk from your downtown destination. Uber usually cost $15 each way and drops you off right at your destination.
