There is an A/C unit in the bedroom.

Should you want to rent bikes there is a bike rental shop a block away. (They also rent kid-sized bikes and baby seats if you need those too.) We do not supply bike helmets. By law, only minors are required to wear bike helmets.

You have access to a coin operated washer/dryer that is shared by the other 3 units of the building. Tenant access time is daily after 3 pm or before 10 am.

We can connect you up with a service that will set up a private bonfire on the beach. Includes setup and takedown, portable steel fire drum, roasting sticks, hot dogs, and s'mores. A perfect activity while waiting for the nightly summer Sea World fireworks over the bay. Inquire for details.

Want family pictures on the beach? What better backdrop for a group shot than the stunning backdrop of the ocean or bay at sunset! For an extra fee we can arrange for a local portrait photographer to do a photo session of your family on the beach. Let us know in advanced if you're interested and we can make an appointment with the photographer during your stay.

We love children and want you to know that they are more than welcome as our guests. This means that children of any age, even infants, are counted as guests in your guest count. Please let us know in advance the ages of all children.

The unit is thoroughly cleaned between each stay. However if you wish for a cleaning and change of linens during your stay we can arrange for the housekeeper to come for an additional charge of the standard cleaning fee. Please give us one day's notice so we can get this scheduled.

The security camera is located on the shared rooftop terrace. There are also numerous security cameras belonging to our neighbors pointed at the alley.

Janet & Scott are your hosts. We are a husband and wife team and we live nearby. We own and operate Mission Beach Villas, a highly rated vacation rental management business in San Diego.

We are available 7 am to 10 pm to answer questions during your stay.

Our storefront rental office, Mission Beach Villas, is a mile away as well, so if you need anything feel free to stop by! If you have an early flight, you may stow your luggage at our office so you can go to lunch or hang out on the beach until check-in time. And if you have an afternoon flight on checkout day you may also stow luggage. Just coordinate these details with us and we are happy to accommodate.

Before your stay, we are happy to suggest our favorite restaurants and tourist attractions and will help you get acquainted with the area.

The best thing about the neighborhood is there is so much within walking distance you may find you don't need a car. You could just take a taxi from the airport (6 miles away), get dropped off here and you're at the beach! We have local restaurants, trendy beach bars, excellent coffee spots, and breakfasts cafes all within a few short blocks. Sea World is just 3 miles away.

- The Heart of Mission Beach -
The location is on the south side of Santa Clara Place (the only traffic light in North Mission Beach). It is equally centered between Belmont Park (the roller coaster area) and Crystal Pier in Pacific Beach.

- Outdoor Activities -
Recreational opportunities abound! It is within walking distance to Santa Clara Point where there are numerous recreation activities and rentals available including: stand-up paddle boards, kayaks, jet skis, windsurfing, catamarans, sailboats, water ski boats, and even jet packs. There are group classes and private lessons available for all of these activities. What's more, there are free yoga classes on the beach each day at the end of our court.

There is a fantastic surf spot at the beach for beginner to advanced surfers, and is great for spectators as well. There are affordable surf lessons offered daily on the beach by our friends at Surfari Surf School. And, we can point you to all the best surf spots in San Diego County. We also have two world class board shapers who are neighbors in case you want to get a new surfboard while you are here.

We offer self check-in with a digital door lock to make your arrival as easy as possible.

There is a spacious rooftop patio that is shared between 4 units. (All are vacation rentals so feel free to mingle and make some new friends who are also our guests and fellow travelers.)

Guests also have access to the laundry machines which are shared with the other 3 other units.

Your parking spot is only meant for up to a mid sized SUV. A large SUV will fit only if you have good parking skills and park tightly to the building on one side to give you and the neighboring vehicle some door wiggle room. Please pull all the way forward.
