If you include the sofa bed, this condo can sleep up to 8 people. However, since the condo is only 850 square feet we don't recommend it for more than 6 people.

We love children and want you to know that they are more than welcome as our guests. This means that children of any age, even infants, are counted as guests in your guest count. Please let us know in advance the ages of all children.

We can refer you to a vendor that can set up a private bonfire on the beach. Includes setup and takedown, portable steel fire drum, roasting sticks, hot dogs, and s'mores. A perfect evening activity. The nighttime view of the bay is breathtaking. Inquire for details.

Want family pictures on the beach? What better backdrop for a group shot than the stunning backdrop of the ocean or bay at sunset! We can connect you with a local affordable portrait photographer to do a photo session of your family on the beach.

The beach condo is thoroughly cleaned between each stay. However if you wish for a cleaning and change of linens during your stay we can arrange for the housekeeper to come for an additional charge of the standard cleaning fee. Please give us one day's notice so we can get this scheduled.

Janet & Scott are your hosts. We are a husband and wife team and we live nearby. We own and operate Mission Beach Villas, a highly rated vacation rental management business in San Diego.

We are available 8 am to 10 pm to answer questions during your stay.

Our storefront rental office, Mission Beach Villas, is a mile away as well, so if you need anything feel free to stop by! If you have an early flight, you may stow your luggage at our office so you can go to lunch or hang out on the beach until check-in time. And if you have an afternoon flight on checkout day you may also stow luggage. Just coordinate these details with us and we are happy to accommodate.

Before your stay, we are happy to suggest our favorite restaurants and tourist attractions and will help you get acquainted with the area.

The location is in one of the best spots of all of San Diego. The bay side of Mission Beach is the quieter, more peaceful side, with families with children staying in the houses nearby and is NOT the college party scene. (If that is what you're looking for please look for a rental elsewhere.)

There is no through-traffic on this end of Mission Beach, and the tip of Mission Beach has a great recreational area with volleyball nets and fire pits. It is far enough (1/2 mile) south of the roller coaster area so it's very removed from the tourist noise. It is off of the main boulevard and faces the bay, a very calm and peaceful atmosphere.

The location is just 6 miles from the airport and 11 miles to the downtown Gaslamp district. It is just 3 miles from Sea World.

The surfing is fantastic at the beach on the ocean side of Mission Beach for beginner to advanced surfers, and great for spectators as well. We can recommend affordable one-on-one surf lessons or group classes that are offered daily on the beach. What's more, we can point you to all the best surf spots in San Diego County.

We offer self check-in and keyless entry to make your arrival as easy as possible. There are no keys to lose, just a simple 4-digit passcode to remember.

The beach condo includes a private patio that is right off of the boardwalk. You are welcome to use the BBQ and chill out on the patio while watching the locals cruise by on their bikes.

Included with the rental is the use of boogie boards, beach towels, beach chairs, beach umbrellas, and sand toys for the kids.

If you bring a car we will provide you with one parking space. That the space is quite tight so don't expect to fit a large vehicle like an SUV, van, or truck. If you rent a car we recommend an economy car. And if you do bring more than one vehicle keep in mind that the other cars will have to park on the street. Street parking can be very difficult to find during sunny summer days in Mission Beach. (Not a problem the rest of the year.)

This beach condo is fully loaded with beach gear and is located on the front row, bay front! There's a front patio with a picnic table and chairs for the whole family. Included with the rental is the use of beach towels, boogie boards, beach chairs, and beach umbrellas. For families we even furnish you with a pack-n-play and high chair for the little ones.

This beach condo has 2 updated bathrooms. The primary bathroom features a walk-in shower. The home is decorated with a local beach theme.

The condo features 2 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, a living room, a kitchen with dishwasher, and a patio for outdoor dining with a BBQ. The ground floor condo is very comfortable with modernized heating and A/C. The primary bedroom has a king size bed. The second bedroom has a twin bunk bed over a full size bed plus a twin trundle bed that rolls out from underneath.

The kitchen includes a stove, refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, blender, and a Keurig coffee maker. We supply you with all the cooking pans, dishes, and utensils you might need. There are the usual kitchen gadgets such as bottle openers and cork screws plus we start you out stocked with a starter supply of K-cups for your morning coffee.

Washer/dryer are in the hallway going to the bedrooms.

Riding bikes along the boardwalk is usually the most scenic way to get around and take in the atmosphere. Bike rentals are available by the day or the week at a rental shop nearby.

It is about a 10 minute walk down the boardwalk to Belmont Park where there are restaurants, bars, and shops. There is a small market within a very short walking distance (less than 5 min walk).

Uber/Lyft options are readily available for local transport at an affordable rate. If you've never used this service before download the phone app and you may find a discount code for first-time riders online.
