A Vacation in the Life of A Vlogger Who Loves Mission Beach Villas

Brittany Owen • March 11, 2021

We loved hosting this popular video blogger Clintus from Arizona with his happy family of 4 in 2019. He enjoyed staying at one of our properties so much, he returned with his family in 2020 to stay in another and claims to want to spend this summer with us again! Wow!

Check out some of the 'vlogs' he created while on both of his family vacations at two of our Mission Beach rental properties below. The first property his family enjoyed is our Bay View unit with Roof Deck and can be found HERE, and his last summer stay was at our Charming Beach Cottage and can be found HERE.

Overall he highlights the two properties he's experienced so far. He also reviews the walkability to various activities and a few of our restaurant recommendations in the area. We pinpointed specific minutes in each video for your convenience, although he is entertaining throughout them all. If you like his content we suggest giving him a follow on YouTube HERE.

Enjoy!

The first vlog below features our beautiful rental space at Bay View (7:20 - 9:42).

The second displays the Bay View kitchen area and roof deck BBQ (9:09 - 10:00).

The third vlog below shows family-friendly things to do in the area, and also highlights our Bay View roof deck space with panoramic view (1:02 - 1:37).

This fourth vlog highlights the lasting impression of his first vacation rental experience with us and a family review of Kono's Cafe, one of our personal recommendations (0:45 - 2:04)

The final vlog included showcases our Charming Beach Cottage during his return visit and discusses some amenities during his last summer stay (1:00 - 2:40)

Thanks again Clintus for being such a supportive guest! We can't wait to host your family again. :-)

As of today March 17 th , there are many fun activities to be enjoyed safely throughout San Diego County. All outdoors sports and activities are available for enjoyment as well as various indoor establishments to be operating at limited capacity. All beaches are open for swimming, surfing, volleyball or simply soaking up the rays. The bay is also open and currently allows considerable activities such as paddleboarding, kayaking, boating and jet skiing. Bicycling, boarding, skating and strolling on the boardwalk is also welcome. Picnicking, basketball and playtime at the local parks are other family friendly options as well. Equipment rental shops are available as well as watersport lessons can be scheduled. These are just a few of the many exciting things to do while here! In regard to restaurants, the majority of them are open for take out and many for outdoor dining between 5am-10pm with newly extended patio space to accommodate. This year has taught us that eating outdoor can be an often overlooked luxury that we San Diegans love to enjoy with our beautiful weather! However, if you do prefer to eat indoors San Diego has begun to allow restaurants to operate at 25% indoor capacity. Face coverings are still required in public places by law. However, people are not required to wear one while performing physical activities such as swimming, walking, hiking, running or bicycling as long as you’re not within 6 feet of someone from outside your household. It is strongly suggested that everyone keep a face mask readily available to use when coming in contact with others at less than a 6-foot distance to keep others safe. It is required to be worn when entering any establishment or restaurant, however once seated at a table you are welcome to remove it while dining. Currently San Diego is operating in the less restrictive Red Tier of a safe reopening plan. The CA Department of Public Health recently re-evaluated the reopening qualifications with regard to reaching the Vaccine Equity Metric goal of 2 million statewide vaccinations. Along with this Red Tier change comes the limited reopening of indoor museums, aquariums, movie theaters, gyms, salons and more. As you can see, there is a plethora of fun to be had for solo, couples and family adventures alike. So, Waikiki when you can San Diego? ;-) References: https://www.sandiegocounty.gov/content/sdc/hhsa/programs/phs/community_epidemiology/dc/2019-nCoV/reopening.html https://www.cdph.ca.gov/Programs/CID/DCDC/Pages/COVID-19/COVID19CountyMonitoringOverview.aspx https://www.kpbs.org/news/2021/mar/09/san-diego-county-purple-tier-covid-19/ https://www.cbs8.com/article/news/health/coronavirus/san-diego-red-tier-covid-move/509-96552898-e498-42ba-b343-23381bd0ef78
