Have you ever wanted to learn to surf?
We'd like to introduce Brian P Shohet, who offers both private one-on-one surf lessons and small group lessons here in Mission Beach. Brian will meet you at your vacation rental or right out on the beach, whichever you prefer. He supplies the wetsuits and surfboards. He will give you the hands on training to make sure you get up and have a blast. He works with both kids and adults so the whole family has a chance to improve their skills.
Brian's background: He is a "surf therapist" who brings a surfing program into treatment centers for people struggling with addiction. He not only teaches surfing but also incorporates mental health concepts in the area of addiction, anxiety, PTSD, food eating disorders, alcoholism etc. for those in need.
In our experience working with Brian over the years, we have received numerous great reviews on his behalf. We love what he stands for and are always impressed with the progress his students make both on the board and off!
